The crew behind the truck

Small crew. Big results. Always focused on you.

Brandon started Hub City Electric in 2023 for a simple reason: take care of his family and do honest work he could put his name on. He brought 11+ years in the trade with him, and these days his son works right alongside him.

Staying small is the point. There are no sub-contractors and no rotating faces. The same person who answers the phone is the one who shows up at your door, and every job gets full attention from start to finish. That’s how a panel gets done right and your time gets respected.

Power you can trust. Brandon, owner.

How a job goes

No runaround. No pressure.

Here’s exactly what happens from the moment you call.

01

Pick up the phone

Call or message us with what’s going on. We listen, ask a few questions, and set up a time that works for you. Free quote, no obligation.

02

We show up ready

We arrive when we said we would, with the parts and tools the job needs. You’ll know the plan and the price before any work starts.

03

Done right, the first time

The work gets done to code, tested, and cleaned up after. You get power you can trust and a crew you can call again.

Why a small crew

The reason Brandon kept it small.

A lot of electrical companies grow until the owner is mostly in a truck doing quotes and somebody you’ve never met does the actual wiring. Brandon went the other way on purpose. When you book Hub City Electric, the person on the phone is the person on the ladder, and his son is the second set of hands. That’s it. No dispatch board juggling fifteen vans, no rotating crew of subs who each cut a corner and blame the last guy.

It matters more than it sounds. Most of the homes around Albany, Tangent, and Lebanon were wired decades ago for a fraction of the load a family puts on them today. Add a couple of EV chargers, a hot tub, a shop heater, and a panel that was fine in 1978 starts tripping or running hot. Sorting that out takes someone who will actually look at what’s behind the wall instead of selling you the biggest job on the menu. We tell you what the house needs, what it doesn’t, and what the price will be before we touch anything.

The same goes for businesses. A shop in Corvallis or a restaurant in Salem can’t have the power down for a week, so we plan the work around how you operate and keep the inspector in the loop from the start. Honest work, done once, on a schedule we actually keep. That’s the whole pitch, and after 11+ years in the trade it’s still the only one Brandon’s interested in making.

One more thing worth saying plainly: we’d rather lose a job than win it with a number we can’t stand behind. If a quick repair will solve your problem, we’ll tell you that instead of talking you into a full panel. Veterans get 5% off, the license number is on every page so you can check it yourself, and the eight families who left us five-star reviews all got the same treatment you will. Call (541) 220-0295 and we’ll get you a free quote with the price up front.

FAQ

Questions we hear a lot

Straight answers to the things Albany homeowners ask before they book.

Are you licensed in Oregon?

Yes. Hub City Electric is licensed and insured in Oregon under CCB#247871. Every job is done to current code and inspected where required, so your work is documented and safe. If you ever want to verify the license, the number is right there for you to check.

How much does a panel replacement cost?

Every panel job is a little different depending on your service size, the condition of the existing wiring, and what the utility and inspector need. That’s why we give you a free quote based on what your project actually needs, with the price locked in before any work begins. We don’t do surprise charges, and we’d rather explain the cost clearly than win you with a lowball bid.

Do you serve commercial properties?

Yes. We handle residential work like panels, wiring, and EV chargers, and commercial work like service upgrades, maintenance, remodels, and new shop builds. Same crew and same standard whether it’s a house or a business that can’t afford downtime.

How soon can you come out?

For most calls in the Albany area we can be out within a day or two, and we move emergencies to the front of the line. When you call, you’ll get an honest window instead of a vague “sometime this week.” Angela called us and we were out the next day, which is how we like to run it.

Do veterans really get a discount?

We do. Veterans get 5% off their job. It’s a small way to say thanks for your service. Just mention it when you call and we’ll take care of the rest.

What areas do you serve?

We cover Albany and roughly a 70-mile radius across the mid-Willamette Valley, including Corvallis, Salem, Eugene, Springfield, Lebanon, Sweet Home, and the smaller towns in between. If you’re nearby and don’t see your town listed, just ask. We can almost always help or point you to someone who can.
