About Hub City Electric
A small, family-owned electrical company based in Albany, Oregon. We do honest work for people who value reliability over the lowest bid.
Our Story
Hub City Electric started the way a lot of good things start: Brandon got tired of doing great work under somebody else’s name and decided to put his own name on it instead. By the time he founded the company in 2023, he already had more than eleven years in the trade behind him. That is a lot of panels, a lot of remodels, a lot of late calls when the power went out and a family was sitting in the dark. He learned the work the right way, on real job sites, from people who cared about doing it correctly the first time.
The reason he started Hub City was simple. He wanted to take care of his family and do honest, hard work for people who appreciate it. No corporate office telling him to rush a job. No upselling things folks do not need. Just clean wiring, safe panels, and a straight answer when somebody asks how much it is going to run them. Brandon set out to build the kind of electrical company he would want to call if it were his own house, and that is still the bar every single day.
These days his son works right alongside him. There is something about handing a trade down that keeps you honest. You are not just protecting your own reputation anymore, you are building one for the next guy too. That father-and-son setup is also why we stay small on purpose. When you call Hub City, you are not getting a rotating cast of strangers. You are getting Brandon, his son, and a tight crew who all answer for the work.
We work across the Albany area and out into the wider Willamette Valley, both residential and light commercial. Panel replacements and service upgrades, full remodels and new construction, EV chargers, generators, surge protection, smart home wiring, and the emergency calls nobody plans for. Our customers tend to be folks who would rather pay for it done right than pay twice to fix a cheap job. We like those customers. They are our people.
Three years in, we are proud of where we are and clear about why we are here. Hub City is not trying to be the biggest electrical outfit in the valley. We are trying to be the one your neighbor tells you to call. The reviews, the repeat customers, and the word-of-mouth that keeps the phone ringing tell us we are pointed the right direction. We plan to keep it exactly that way.
What We Stand For
No Subcontractors
Our own crew handles every job. You always know who’s coming to your home.
Upfront Pricing
We give you a clear price before we start. No surprises when the invoice comes.
Licensed & Insured
Oregon CCB#247871. Fully insured. We pull permits and get work inspected.
Veterans Get 5% Off
It’s a small way to say thanks. Mention it when you call.
The first thing to know about us is that we run our own crew. We do not hand your job off to subcontractors you have never met and cannot vouch for. The people who show up at your door work for Hub City, stand behind their work, and know that Brandon is going to look at it when they are done. That matters when it is your home and your family’s safety on the line.
The second thing is that we tell you the price up front. Before a single wire gets pulled, you know what the job is, what it’ll cost, and roughly how long it takes. We are not the cheapest bid in town and we are fine saying that out loud. What we are is the company that does not surprise you with a number at the end you never agreed to. Honest work at an honest price, no games.
Everything we touch gets done by the book. We are licensed in Oregon under CCB#247871, we pull the permits the job calls for, and we let the inspector do their job. Cutting corners on permits and inspections is how people end up with fire risk hiding inside their walls. We would never do that to our own home, so we will not do it to yours. Every job gets treated like it is one of ours.
And we take care of the people who took care of us. Veterans get five percent off, no fine print, just our way of saying thank you for the service. Small thing, but it is the kind of small thing that tells you who you are dealing with.
What Working With Us Looks Like
It usually starts with a phone call or a message. You tell us what is going on, whether it is a dead panel, a remodel you are planning, an EV charger you want in the garage, or a flicker that has you worried. We listen, we ask the questions that actually matter, and if it is the kind of thing we can size up over the phone, we will. If not, we come out and put eyes on it. There is no charge to come look and talk it through.
Once we understand the job, you get a clear free quote with the price up front and a realistic timeline. No vague ranges that double on you later. We tell you what the work involves, what materials it takes, what permits are needed, and when we can get it on the calendar. You decide from there, with all the information in front of you and zero pressure from us.
When it is time to do the work, we show up when we said we would and we do it clean. We pull the permits, run the wiring or set the panel correctly, and we get the inspection signed off so it is right and on record. When we are finished, we clean up after ourselves. You should not be able to tell we were there except that your power problem is solved and everything works the way it should.
